Katie asked:
I’m a theater major but I have very little professional experience (two traveling kids show) I was thinking about going to a school like this but I’m not sure if it would be worth it scince I’m already in a theater program. I was looking at thier 4 weeks program. can you give me some advice? or suggest some other schools I could check out?

The program you mention has a reputation of being very expensive for what it offers.
Having read your question, the best advice I can give you is to consider another career field. Your competition in this very competitive field is probably far ahead of you in experience.
Best wishes.

NYFA is not worth anything in general. If you want to get into film, there are easier and cheaper ways, especially if you have theatre experience. Try just working on student films or professional films as a PA… If you want something more structures look into public colleges in NY.
NYFA doesn’t have the reputation that equals the price tag… and in only 4 weeks, you won’t learn all that much that you couldn’t learn from reading books and working on your own.
